The Blumenfeld Zuchwil Foundation offers 86 residents professional services in nursing, care, gastronomy, and facility services in various living and care forms.
Our publicly operated restaurant Giardino with 70 indoor and 30 outdoor seats serves as a meeting place for our residents and external guests. Convalescent residents from Zuchwil are supplied with a meal service from our own production. Together with a motivated crew, you prepare around 350 meals daily. The expectations of our residents and guests are high. The quality of catering is proven to be an important criterion for satisfaction during a stationary stay. We value the use of regional and seasonal fresh products.
To complement our kitchen crew, we are looking for a committed, resilient, and motivated personality with high social and self-competence and a pronounced service orientation from April 1, 2026 or by arrangement as

Tasks:
You are responsible for the punctual, qualitative, and quantitative flawless preparation and provision of daily meals.
Your area of work mainly includes the production kitchen, cold and hot kitchen, as well as the preparation of diet meals if needed. You create varied and tasty desserts according to modern nutritional principles. You handle the purchase of food and beverages and check the quantity and quality of fresh products, dry goods, and drinks. Co-responsibility for compliance with hygiene and occupational safety according to legal and operational requirements completes your area of responsibility.
Profile:
For this exciting position, we are looking for a passionate Cook EFZ, preferably with additional training as a diet cook and a pronounced flair for desserts. Ideally, you bring several years of professional experience in both the restaurant industry and community catering. You have a special flair for the concerns and nutrition of the elderly. In your work, you are creative and, thanks to your communication skills, a committed team player. You create a climate of trust and thus achieve mutual appreciation.
