About the job
For our partial and inpatient area, we are looking for you as part of a maternity cover from April 1, 2026, limited until June 30, 2027, as
Tasks
- You are responsible for the planning, implementation, and evaluation of animal-assisted individual and group therapies
- You are part of the interdisciplinary treatment team and actively participate in the implementation of therapeutic goals
- You support the further development of the concept for animal-assisted therapy in the field of child and adolescent psychiatry with your expertise and accompany employees regarding the animal-assisted activities and services they offer
- You participate in the basic care of the animals
Profile
- You have sound knowledge in animal husbandry as well as recognized training/continuing education in therapeutic work with animals
- You have knowledge in child and adolescent psychiatry and experience with mental disorders
- Strong social skills in dealing with mentally ill children and adolescents
- Ability to think and act in a networked, conceptual, and innovative way
- You work independently, structured, and are characterized by flexibility, teamwork, and resilience
