The Tertianum Neutal residential and care centre in Berlingen offers 137 guests customised services in old age directly on the beautiful Untersee (Lake Constance region). These are focused on long-term and respite care, palliative care, psychogeriatric care, geriatric rehabilitation, and assisted living. The integrated rehabilitation clinic for seniors is also particularly valued.

Start an exciting and meaningful training with us! Your future is close to our hearts. Our experienced trainers will accompany and support you throughout your entire training.

What you will learn with us

• Working in various kitchen areas: preparing, cooking, plating, and serving meals
• Preparation and storage: ensuring all ingredients are fresh and in stock
• Care and cleanliness: hygiene is especially important; with us, you will learn about the HACCP regulations and how they are implemented in the kitchen

What you bring with you

• Completed schooling (secondary school A or B) with good academic performance
• Strong willingness to learn, sense of responsibility, hygiene awareness, and organisational skills
• Interest in cooking and enjoyment in handling food
• Helpful, sociable, and team-oriented, with a strong sense of care and conscientiousness
• Willingness to work irregular hours
• A warm and humorous basic attitude
• Enjoyment of diverse challenges and practical work
• Good German language skills, spoken and written

Your training starts with an exciting introductory day. In the second year of training, our apprentices participate in the Tertianum Summer Camp. We celebrate the completion of the training with a proper graduation ceremony. After the apprenticeship, numerous opportunities open up to work within our company in various establishments and language regions.
