On behalf of 28 municipalities with a catchment area of over 100,000 people, we are actively engaged, low-threshold, and networked in the following areas: Child and Adult Protection Authority (KESB), professional guardianship, social counseling, mother and father counseling, addiction counseling, and school social work.
Lawyer KESB 80-100% (Maternity Cover)
In the legal service of the KESB, we are looking for a position starting May 1, 2026, or by arrangement, limited until approximately the end of December 2026:
Tasks
- Legal support for the procedural authority members in child and adult protection proceedings, especially drafting decision proposals, procedural orders, and legal correspondence
- Advisory voice in the authority's decision meetings as well as in decisions made individually by an authority member
- Legal clarifications and fact-finding in the area of child and adult protection on behalf of the authority
- Legal special clarifications, especially in inheritance law, property law, contract law, etc.
- Preparing and recording hearings
- Independent management of delegated procedures, especially drafting maintenance agreements
- Participation in consultations and statements on complaints against KESB decisions
- Providing legal information to third parties
Requirements
- Completed studies in law (MLaw, lic.iur.)
- Bar admission desired
- Professional experience at a court or in administration
- Practical experience in child and adult protection is an advantage
- Very good communication skills and confident written expression
- Independence in work organization and precise, efficient, and structured working style
- Team player, resilient, and integral personality with high social competence
- Empathetic and confident handling of people in challenging life situations
- Enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration
- Good IT user skills
