Head of Route Operations (80-100%)
Your role with us
- Leading the Route Operations department with five specialist areas (Technical Service, Sales Devices, Public Facilities, Route Service, Green Maintenance) and around 25 employees – professionally, organizationally, and personally.
- Responsibility for safety, availability, cleanliness of stops and service buildings on our network as well as for green maintenance on the routes. Timely maintenance of technical systems also falls within the scope of responsibility.
- Capacity planning, resource management, as well as responsibility for budget and compliance with legal requirements; leadership of managers and strategic further development of route operations.
- Further development of maintenance strategies, processes, and workflows to increase safety, efficiency, and quality.
- Conducting tenders and ensuring contractually agreed services. Managing external partners and coordinating cooperation with third parties (cleaning work at events or in winter service, etc.).
What convinces us
- Completed technical or infrastructural training with several years of professional and leadership experience in the operation or maintenance of infrastructures.
- Good knowledge of operational safety, occupational safety, and relevant legal frameworks.
- You have further training as a maintenance manager, facility manager, or similar. Your networked and strategic thinking rounds off your profile. You can also translate complex contexts into clear decisions.
- Entrepreneurial thinking and confidence in handling budget and resource responsibility.
- You are resilient and take responsibility – also in safety-relevant situations or during winter operations outside of usual working hours.
