Golf Saint Apollinaire is the largest and closest golf resort to the city in the Basel metropolitan area, featuring 2 x 18 Hole Championship Courses Par 72 and the 9 Hole Executive Course - only 5 minutes from EuroAirport Basel. Together with Golf Sempach, Lucerne and Golf Kyburg, Zurich, the facilities belong to the ClubGolf network and, as part of the "Leading Golf courses of Switzerland," meet the highest quality standards on and off the course. Over 50 employees work for more than 1,700 members and many guests. Our restaurant "Das Reflektorium" covers a wide range from à la carte cuisine to banquets for 380 people.

Head of Gastronomy 100%

As a passionate host, do you feel ready for a new challenge at Golf St. Apollinaire? Are you enthusiastic about à la carte as well as sports events? Then you are right with us.

Your Tasks

• Operational management of the entire restaurant
• Leadership, coaching, and training of employees
• Employee recruitment and introduction in cooperation with the HR manager
• Organization and coordination of banquets and seminars for up to 300 people from inquiry through execution to follow-up in cooperation with the front office
• Guest care
• Offer design in collaboration with the head chef
• Ordering system
• Preparation of statistics, menu calculations, and monthly inventories
• Management of the cash register system including daily and monthly closings using PC Caddie

Your Profile

• Completed training in gastronomy as well as a diploma from a recognized hotel management school or equivalent education
• Several years of professional and leadership experience in upscale gastronomy or hotel industry
• Entrepreneurial mindset
• Native German or French speaker, with excellent knowledge of the other language
• Organizational talent, high sense of responsibility, good communication skills
• Flexible, resilient, reliable, high commitment
