The proposal for election at the General Assembly will take place in spring 2026.
What can you expect?
As a member of the Board of Directors, you are jointly responsible for
- the appropriate and effective overall supervision of the bank's management.
- the financial situation and development of the bank.
- the development and determination of the bank's strategy as well as the review of its sustainable implementation.
- compliance with laws and regulations and risk management.
Within the Board of Directors, you are specifically responsible for risk management and Asset & Liability Management (ALM). Your main tasks essentially include
- the assessment and discussion of the periodically prepared risk report with the responsible bank management member.
- monitoring compliance with the risk appetite and liquidity requirements defined by the Board of Directors.
- ensuring targeted management of the bank's balance sheet by the bank management.
- the assessment of the adequacy and effectiveness of the internal control system.
What do you bring?

- You bring broad professional experience in specialist, leadership, and/or management functions. In particular, you are able to correctly assess market, liquidity, credit, and operational risks.
- You are able to holistically assess strategic issues in a changing industry and contribute solution-oriented in discussions about the further development of the bank.
- You have the necessary time (approximately 15 days per year in total) and flexibility to be available additionally in unforeseen situations.
- You are well rooted in the Liestal-Oberbaselbiet region and willing to participate in the social life of our region and maintain an active network with various stakeholders from business, politics, and society.
