The EFAJE is a network that brings together 31 municipalities from the Gros-de-Vaud district and surrounding areas wishing to unite their efforts to manage and develop quality day care services in order to better meet the needs of their citizens. To date, three sectors are represented: Family Day Care, which includes about seventy family-based caregivers, eight preschool structures, and nineteen after-school structures. As part of an expansion, we are looking, for a fixed term, for a:
40% Stewardship Manager (Fixed-term Contract) (reference 25.3 /HIR)
The workplace is located at the Hirondelle Daycare in Bercher, which will gradually have a capacity of 64 care places divided into 4 groups.
The position is spread over 4 days with time slots between 12:00 and 17:00.
Your missions:
- Ensure the maintenance, hygiene, and cleanliness of the premises, laundry, and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with safety and hygiene standards.
- Receive, check, and set up meals provided by the caterer, then manage the dishes.
- Actively contribute to collaboration and the smooth daily operation of the structure.
- Efficiently manage food stocks and cleaning products.
Your profile:
You have proven experience in maintenance and logistics, ideally in daycare. You master French, both spoken and written, as well as basic Excel for simple tracking. You enjoy working in a team while knowing how to be proactive and creative. Diplomatic, you know how to support and collaborate with different interlocutors with kindness. Curious and interested in the world of childhood, you are ready to take on the challenge of expanding our structure.
Holder of a CFC in stewardship management, you are Swiss or have a valid residence permit as well as a clean criminal record.
