As a Calibration Specialist you will: Perform calibration of tools sent to Calibration Services under consideration of the capabilities to assure the required measurements according to the specified standards.
Your tasks
- Calibrate the assigned tools of the accredited calibration area in SR Technics based on EN ISO/IEC 17025
- Calibrates the tools within the expected TAT or upon agreed date with the customer
- Communicates to the customer about findings, required specifications, target dates, etc.
- Requests publication of technical specifications
- Controls each certificate after performance of tool calibration to ensure required quality
- Checks data entry in the system to have all required information according to internal instructions
- Ensures the availability of the necessary standards, tools and programs
- Contact person for the responsible range of tools
- Calibrates tools on-site in the shop if necessary
- Performs repairs on electrical or mechanical tools whenever required and possible
- Processes and analyses the measured values and information collected
- Makes decisions based on legal requirements and standards
Your Profile
- Apprenticeship as a craftsman (electronics or mechanics)
- General foreman, manufacturing production
- Calibration business and knowing of the legal regulation for calibration (at least 3 years)
- Technical understanding (1 or more years)
- Logical and analytical, flexible, keeps the overview of complexes area, good in MS Office application, organized, communication skills to build relationships to customers and suppliers
- SAP knowledge is beneficial
- German C1
- English B2
