Your mission:
You carry out study and renewal projects in the field of mechanics related to hydroelectricity and provide technical support for the execution of specialized maintenance tasks.
In collaboration with the operations staff and colleagues from other technical units, you mainly work on developments in Lower Valais and Central Valais, from preliminary studies to on-site commissioning.
Your responsibilities:
- Develop and implement technical solutions within the framework of major rehabilitation projects of hydroelectric installations, in collaboration with the various technical units
- Provide technical support for the staff responsible for the operation and maintenance of the various hydroelectric developments
- Budget the work to be done, prepare offers and provide technical support for sales
- Technically lead projects, respecting costs, deadlines, and quality
- Organize and coordinate supplier interventions, in collaboration with the maintenance managers of the various sites
- Supervise commissioning and actively participate in the transfer to operations
- Develop and keep the technical documentation of the developments up to date
Your skills:
- EPF or HES engineer in mechanics
- 5 years of experience in industry, including 3 years in hydroelectricity would be a plus
- Ease and good technical sense, experience in solving "field" or operational problems
- Knowledge in mechanical welding and oleo-hydraulics would be a plus
- Great organizational capacity for the simultaneous management of several projects
- Autonomy, proactivity, analytical and synthesis skills
- Interest and availability to go to the field (about 50% of the time)
- Good writing skills (technical reports)
- Native German or French speaker with very good knowledge of the other language
