The Church District Six belongs to the Zurich Church Community and includes the church locations Letten, Matthäus, Paulus, Ober- and Unterstrass. It is a lively, constantly developing church district in an urban environment with a diverse range of offerings for all age groups. For our motivated diaconal team, we are looking for you as a committed person to start immediately or by arrangement
Your tasks
- Cooking meals for events in the church district (e.g. lunch tables, celebrations), usually together with committed volunteer teams
- Menu planning and shopping
- Active participation in creating a welcoming and hospitable atmosphere in the church district
- Responsibility for kitchen hygiene in the church district
Your profile
- Training as a cook EFZ and professional experience in a similar role
- Experience with catering is an advantage
- High social competence and enjoyment of working with volunteers
- Flair for vegetarian and seasonal cuisine
- Structured, reliable and independent way of working
- Willingness to work irregular shifts in several kitchens
- Driver's license category B
