The Psychiatric University Hospital Zurich has been serving the treatment of mentally ill people since 1870 and is today responsible for fulfilling its mandate for regional and supraregional psychiatric and psychotherapeutic basic care in the greater Zurich area. The range of services includes the treatment of mental illnesses across the entire lifespan. As a university hospital, it takes on tasks in university teaching and research as well as in initial, advanced, and continuing education with international networking.
The Clinic for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Psychotherapy (KJPP) of the PUK is responsible for child and adolescent psychiatric care throughout the canton of Zurich. The regional offices are available for all outpatient child and adolescent psychiatric diagnostics, counseling, and therapy for the population in the area of responsibility. Emergency care is provided centrally at the center in Zurich.
We are looking for the Clinic for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Psychotherapy (KJPP)
Your tasks
- Child and adolescent psychiatric assessments and therapeutic treatments of children and adolescents including family work
- Work in an interdisciplinary team
- Participation in outpatient and inpatient emergency service
- Possibly writing civil law expert reports
Your profile
- Clinical competence
- Good interpersonal skills, analytical thinking, expressiveness, and resilience
- Experience in child and adolescent psychiatry, psychiatry, or pediatrics desired
- Completed medical studies (recognition by MEBEKO required for foreign diplomas)
