Employee Cultural Education and Mediation
Do you want to actively shape and further develop the media collection and supplementary event offerings of a dynamic library? Are you interested in planning and conducting mediation offers for different target groups? Do you enjoy working with people and want to advise Zug residents in customer service? Then we are looking for you at the Zug Library, a modern city and cantonal library with a media collection of around 120,000 media and 500 events.

Tasks
- You ensure the media offer as well as the media presentation for the area of fiction and other collection segments
- You are responsible for the development, implementation, and execution of offers to mediate literature, language, and reading skills for various target groups
- You advise and support customers in customer service
- You maintain networks with mediation and cooperation partners
Expectations
- BA Information Science FH, Specialist in Information and Documentation EFZ or comparable education
- Professional experience with the diversity of media and mediation offers of a public library or in the book trade
- Interest in people, media, literature, and cultural mediation
- Creativity, service orientation, and good communication skills
- An upbeat, team-oriented, resilient, and flexible personality
