About the job

The district capital Dietikon is a vibrant regional center and an important economic location in the rapidly growing Limmattal. The fifth largest city in the canton of Zurich has around 28,000 inhabitants and counts about 3,100 students.
The Dietikon school currently comprises six school units. It has many years of experience in the field of special education and integration.

The Steinmürli school unit is located in the center of Dietikon, within short walking distance to Dietikon train station. At this lively QUIMS school, we teach kindergarten and primary classes as well as a small class. An optional daycare complements the offer. This school unit works according to the educational concept of the new authority according to Haim Omer.

For our open double kindergarten with around 35 children, we are looking for a kindergarten teacher as a job partner who is eager to shape kindergarten together with us. We do not see ourselves as instructors but as learning companions for the children.

Learning processes arise from the ideas of the children: today in the forest, tomorrow in the library, in the school garden, while baking, sewing, or simply playing. We work with functional play, play projects (Playing Plus), and orient ourselves to the interests of the children and the seasons. The children set their own goals – we accompany them.

No one works alone with us. Our kindergarten is led as a team – with two class teachers, class assistants, and specialist teachers.

Our concept is evolving – therefore, we are looking for a kindergarten teacher as a job partner who thinks along, contributes, and helps shape it.

We look forward to a personality who enjoys child-oriented work, likes to work in a team, experiences multilingualism and different cultures as enrichment, actively involves parents (regular parent events are part of our routine), supports children with ISR status, enjoys inclusive work, and supports each child in their uniqueness.
