Private Asset Specialist (80-100%) (6-month contract)

As a Private Assets Specialist, you will join a team of 4 people and play a central role within our group by actively participating in the execution of transactions in the Private Assets universe, including both internal and external private assets funds. You will be responsible for both managing market operations such as capital calls, distributions and liquidations, and ensuring a proper valuation and performance calculation of the related assets.

YOUR ROLE

• Conduct thorough analysis and accurate booking of corporate actions based on instructions received by the fund to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

• Verify and control positions in each fund meticulously before finalizing the booking of operations to mitigate risks and maintain data integrity.

• Update Net Asset Values (NAVs) and positions promptly upon receipt of statements to reflect the most current and accurate financial status.

• Create and maintain Standing Settlement Instructions (SSIs) to facilitate smooth and efficient transaction processing.

• Execute payments accurately and in a timely manner to meet financial obligations and avoid delays.

• Reconcile cash and securities balances regularly to identify and address any discrepancies promptly.

• Announce and invoice orders for IST and Avadis funds efficiently to ensure proper documentation and billing.

• Facilitate order announcements for Private Equity Funds to support investment management activities and fund performance.

• Create commitments and track remaining commitments diligently to ensure accurate record-keeping and adherence to financial agreements.

• Book transactions for Private Equity funds with our Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) Clients accurately and efficiently to maintain client satisfaction and operational excellence

YOUR PROFILE

• University diploma or HEG in finance or economics but “CFC”/”Professional maturity from a business school” also considered

• Display excellent analytical and organizational skills

• Show excellent management of priorities, sense of responsibility, and quality control

• Possess the required curiosity and flexibility, as our field is constantly evolving

• Manage stress and deadlines effectively in the daily rush

• Demonstrate excellent Excel skills, as this is our worksheet

• Have the ability to work both in a team and independently

• Possess knowledge of reading financial statements and funds trading

• Be proficient in French and English (level B2)

• Living in Switzerland or willing to relocate
