Java / Spring Boot Developer (m/f/x) 80-100%

In this stimulating context, we offer you to join the API Factory team, attached to the Data, Integration & AI Division, a dynamic and caring technical team composed of 6 developers, 1 tester, 2 business analysts, and 1 product owner. The team designs and develops API services intended for all Vaudoise applications, relying on modern architectures (microservices, REST APIs, Azure cloud, DevOps)

We are looking for a Java/Spring Boot developer between 80 and 100% who is motivated, rigorous, and curious, ready to invest in demanding projects, eager to progress and actively contribute to the quality of delivered solutions.

The position is open to different levels of experience, junior, intermediate, or senior.

The tasks awaiting you:

• Collaborate with Business Analysts and team members to understand business needs and propose quality and optimized technical solutions
• Contribute to all stages of the development cycle including design, implementation, testing, delivery, and maintenance of Java/Spring Boot services
• Contribute to the development of services deployed on Microsoft Azure and containerized with Docker
• Contribute to DevOps activities by participating in the creation, adaptation, and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines and deployment infrastructure
• Actively participate in continuous improvement within the team (architecture, testing, processes, performance, optimization)
• Actively participate in the team’s agile ceremonies (daily, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives)
• Work in an international context, collaborating daily with team members located in Lausanne and Portugal

Your profile:

• Higher education degree (ideally Master’s) in computer science or equivalent
• Experience in Java development, Spring/Spring Boot
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Git, GitHub, Jenkins, Maven/Gradle, etc.)
• Good command of English and French (written and spoken) to work daily with a team distributed between Switzerland and Portugal

These skills are a plus for us:

• Knowledge of microservices architecture, REST APIs, OpenAPI, GraphQL
• Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Azure or other cloud providers
• Experience in event-driven architecture (Kafka)
• Experience in developing and maintaining containerized applications with Docker or Kubernetes
• Knowledge of infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform
