Conservator-Restorer at 80% (Fixed-term contract until December 31, 2026)

- The OARC's mission is to ensure the preservation of archaeological heritage throughout the cantonal territory (terrestrial, karstic, and lacustrine environments) and to promote it to a wide audience (interested parties and the public).
In collaboration with the archaeologists of the OARC and the Laténium collections team, you will be responsible for the care and conservation-restoration treatments of archaeological objects from a large-scale underwater excavation.
You will oversee the general management of their treatments according to pre-established protocols and ensure the smooth operation of the project's workflow. As part of this mission, you will work as a team to transport the objects to their various treatment locations. You will also contribute to the preparation of treatment files using basic office tools.
The position is advertised as part of a specific project and is subject to a contract with a maximum duration until December 31, 2026.
Holder of a HES master's degree in conservation-restoration, you have at least 3 years of experience in the conservation-restoration of archaeological objects.
Meticulous and organized, you know how to work independently as well as appreciate teamwork.
Curious, you adapt quickly to changes and unforeseen events in order to address various conservation-restoration challenges.
Experience in archaeology and proficiency in the MuseumPlus software are assets.
