Product Development Project Manager - Watchmaking (m/f)

Are you passionate about managing and developing new products?

An excellent communicator – in French and English – you are methodical, pragmatic, and autonomous. Customer-oriented and positive in character, you possess interpersonal skills and enthusiasm, and know how to energize collaboration between teams, especially with methods and industrialization.

With higher education (engineer type) in micromechanics, mechanical engineering, watchmaking, or an equivalent degree, you have 3-5 years of experience in managing product development projects in agile mode meeting strict aesthetic criteria, ideally in a similar position or within a watchmaking technical office.

As a product development project manager, you are responsible for

• managing a portfolio of product projects to be developed by liaising with the multifunctional team of engineers, technicians, design, marketing, technical office, quality, purchasing, after-sales service, finance, logistics, etc.;
• defining the project by creating a complete specification in collaboration with product managers and stakeholders, from the marketing brief to product modifications through needs analysis, planning, cost evaluation, product reliability, and project risks;
• evaluating development deadlines and design milestones;
• monitoring and leading projects from pre-study to production launch and product modification requests;
• ensuring communication of project progress to management and relevant departments and guaranteeing perfect project file management to maintain reliable traceability;
• being proactive in improving product improvement methodology and ensuring technological watch.
