The Regional Legal Service in Wetzikon is part of the office for the districts of Hinwil, Meilen, Pfäffikon, and Uster. We take on legal representation of children and adolescents in child protection and advise the regional child and youth welfare centers on legal matters.
Are you interested in working as a child representative?
To strengthen our interdisciplinary 10-member team in Wetzikon, we are looking for an auditor with a workload of 80-100%, starting March 1, 2026, or by agreement, for a fixed term of one year.
Your tasks:
- Participation in proceedings concerning paternity, maintenance, and other child-related matters as well as in criminal and victim assistance legal proceedings, in particular: drafting legal documents in court proceedings (civil and criminal proceedings) as well as applications to child protection authorities, participating in discussions with parents, children, and adolescents, as well as in child interviews, hearings, and court hearings
- Legal advice to various internal specialist departments
- If suitable and interested, after some familiarization: independent conduct of conversations with parents or with children and adolescents, independent representation of children and adolescents in civil court proceedings
- Participation in supervisions
You bring:
- Completed legal education (Master's degree)
- Special interest in family, criminal, and child law, civil child protection as well as civil and criminal procedural law
- Initial professional experience in the legal field is desired but not mandatory
- Very good German language skills in spoken and written form, any additional language is an advantage
- Ability to work in a team as well as precise, efficient, and independent working style
- Quick comprehension and focus on the essentials
- Ability to collaborate with contact persons from various disciplines
- Desire to perform meaningful and responsible work in the service of the child
