Specialist Staff Unit OR Management and Scheduling 80-100%

Uroviva stands for a modernly managed medical network and includes a specialized clinic for urology, nine urological practices, as well as an andrology center. With around 70,000 consultations annually in primary, specialized, and emergency care and over 5,000 surgeries of all degrees of complexity, Uroviva is a significant provider of urological services in Switzerland.

We are looking for immediately or by arrangement a specialist for the position(s) Scheduling (OR & bed planning) and/or OR Management) 80 - 100%

The two areas of activity can be combined or filled as separate positions depending on qualifications and interests.

Tasks in Scheduling (approx. 50%)

• You take over the surgery and bed planning for 15 operating physicians, including coordination of admissions and emergency surgeries.
• You ensure the administrative processing of surgeries with all documentation.
• You are responsible for controlling patient master data.
• You obtain cost approvals.
• You take responsibility for invoicing upgrades and prepayments.
• You maintain internal and external statistics.
• You work closely with the interfaces of the recovery room/day clinic, OR, ward, surgeons, and anesthesia.

Tasks of OR Management (approx. 50%)

• You ensure optimal utilization of our OR capacities and organize the OR slots for 15 attending physicians in urology.
• You coordinate OR processes and act as the central contact person for the interfaces of recovery room/day clinic, OR, scheduling, surgeons, and anesthesia.
• You take over the annual planning and management of the Da Vinci surgical system for several hospitals.
• You are responsible for monitoring and analyzing OR key figures.
• You lead interdisciplinary meetings for strategic orientation and further development.
• As a deputy, you take care of procurement for medical devices and organize their repairs.
• As a deputy, you are responsible for coordinating validation and maintenance appointments for various equipment and installations.

• Scheduling: Training in the commercial field or further education as a medical or hospital secretary specialist is advantageous for the scheduling position.
• OR Management: Completed training as OT HF or experience in OR management. Ideally with experience in OR coordination or OR management.
• You are an organizational talent, think networked, and have experience in interdisciplinary collaboration.
• You work service-oriented with a quick grasp.
• You are characterized by reliability, social competence, resilience, and flexibility.
• Your pronounced customer orientation as well as competent and warm interaction with our patients are your strengths.
• You have a neat appearance and bring high collegiality as well as joy in your profession.
• You have excellent German skills in spoken and written form and are proficient in handling MS Office applications.
