- Lead day-to-day quality operations, including inspection, testing, and auditing processes.
- Develop and implement quality control procedures.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to quality metrics.
- Maintain compliance with relevant industry standards.
- Facilitate internal and external audits and follow through on audit findings.
- Train and mentor team members on quality procedures, tools, and best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams Production and Supply Chain to resolve quality issues and improve processes.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen.
- Prepare and present quality reports for management and stakeholders.
- Cover stations/area when someone is out
- Prepare work instructions when needed
- Willing to learn and adapt to changes
- Other duties as assigned
Your profile
- 3+ years of experience in quality assurance and/or quality control, including leadership responsibilities.
- Knowledge of quality standards, IATF 16949, ISO 9001 and VDA 6.3.
- Experience with quality gauges, CMM, Scanning/Probing Arm, and X-Ray machines
- Knowledge of quality management systems (QMS) and software.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
