In the Operations area, Rod Lens Production department, we are looking for an
Operator Rod Production 100% (m/f/d)
This is your future role
- Setup, operation, and monitoring of CNC-controlled centerless grinding machines
- Performing tool settings, corrections, and adjustments according to manufacturing requirements
- Inspection of workpieces according to drawings and inspection plans using appropriate measuring instruments (e.g., micrometer, measuring projector, surface measuring device)
- Independent error analysis and troubleshooting of minor machine malfunctions
- Documentation of inspection results and process data in the quality management system
- Protective coating of rod lenses
These are the requirements we expect
- Completed vocational training as a production mechanic or equivalent
- Experience in handling CNC machines
- Experience in operating automated systems or in the optics industry is an advantage
- Good fine motor skills and good eyesight
- Good German language skills, spoken and written
- Team-oriented, very flexible, and reliable personality with a high level of commitment
- Willingness to work in a 2-shift system
