In the Operations area, Rod Lens Production department, we are looking for an

Operator Rod Production 100% (m/f/d)

This is your future role

• Setup, operation, and monitoring of CNC-controlled centerless grinding machines
• Performing tool settings, corrections, and adjustments according to manufacturing requirements
• Inspection of workpieces according to drawings and inspection plans using appropriate measuring instruments (e.g., micrometer, measuring projector, surface measuring device)
• Independent error analysis and troubleshooting of minor machine malfunctions
• Documentation of inspection results and process data in the quality management system
• Protective coating of rod lenses

These are the requirements we expect

• Completed vocational training as a production mechanic or equivalent
• Experience in handling CNC machines
• Experience in operating automated systems or in the optics industry is an advantage
• Good fine motor skills and good eyesight
• Good German language skills, spoken and written
• Team-oriented, very flexible, and reliable personality with a high level of commitment
• Willingness to work in a 2-shift system
