The opportunity
Join EY’s Business Consulting team and contribute to meaningful change across the Financial Services industry. As a Consultant or Senior Consultant, you’ll work on strategic transformation programs for clients in Banking, Insurance, and Asset Management. You’ll help organizations adapt to evolving regulatory requirements and improve their business and technology processes.
This role is ideal for graduates and professionals with up to 5 years of experience in consulting, project management, or financial services, including those with limited exposure to regulatory transformation but a strong interest in learning and growing in this area.
Your key responsibilities
- Support or lead transformation projects related to regulatory change, operational improvement, or compliance for local and global operating financial services organizations in Switzerland
- Help translate regulatory requirements into practical business and technology solutions
- Analyze organizational structures, processes and data to identify optimization levers to develop a sustainable and regulatory compliant operating model
- Collaborate with stakeholders across compliance, risk, finance, and IT to gather and document business needs
- Contribute to the design and implementation of target operating models and process improvements
- Apply EY methodologies and tools to ensure efficient project delivery
- Present findings and recommendations to client stakeholders in a clear and structured way
- Support business development activities such as proposal writing and client presentations
Skills and attributes for success
- University or university of applied sciences degree in business management, (business) IT, economics or related field; Master’s degree is a plus
- Experience or a strong interest in consulting, financial services organizations, financial regulatory and project management, and a willingness to develop expertise in this area
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate successfully in multidisciplinary teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience in analyzing business requirements and working on implementation projects is a plus
- Fluency in English; C1 level in German, Swiss German or other languages is a plus
