Do you enjoy actively shaping complex financial processes and ensuring that exceptional situations are also resolved efficiently? The Settlement Special Services team ensures central services around securities processing at SIX SIS. In the area of Exception Handling, we take over the monitoring and processing of all non-STP Swift messages as well as various control reports. With proactive management of our processes and risks, we ensure reliable operations and a high level of service.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Settlement Specialist who is eager for varied tasks, responsibility, and a dynamic environment. We offer you an exciting, versatile position with up to 40% home office. You will spend at least three working days per week in the office – optionally in Zurich or Olten. One joint team day per week takes place fixed in Olten.

These are your tasks

Coordination and communication with internal and external interfaces, including Network Management, custodians in various countries, ICSDs, CSDs, Client Relationship Manager, Corporate Actions, securities master data, and reconciliation
Timely processing of non-STP Swift messages (MT54x) from over 50 countries
Investigation and correction posting of reconciliation breaks
Continuous optimization of processing workflows as well as maintenance and further development of process documentation

What you bring

Completed commercial basic training; ideally with banking apprenticeship or comparable qualification
Solid expertise in the securities area, as well as practical experience in daily business; several years of experience in settlement is desirable
Team-oriented, committed personality with pronounced initiative and clear, target-group-appropriate communication skills
Analytical and structured working style, quick comprehension as well as high reliability and a strong sense of responsibility
Very good German and English skills, spoken and written
