The Finance Directorate of the University of Basel is looking for a dedicated and team-oriented individual to strengthen our team immediately or by agreement.
Your Tasks
- Participation in the daily business of Accounting and Cash Management
- Management of payment transactions and the central cash register
- Administration of the cash register and the administrative credit card processing
- Control and support of the decentralized institutional cash registers
- Management of securities and general ledger accounting
- Professional support for the decentralized university units and clarification of inquiries in collaboration with internal departments
- Support in the further development and optimization of processes in the financial sector
Your Profile
- Completed commercial training or comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in finance and accounting, especially in payment transactions
- Experience with securities accounting is an advantage
- Good SAP knowledge (ideally S/4HANA) and MS Office
- Strong communication skills in German and basic knowledge of English
- High service orientation, sense of responsibility, and teamwork skills
- Quick comprehension and analytical thinking
- Independent and efficient working style
