For our subsidiary Glacier Express we are looking for an expert like you. The Glacier Express is one of the most famous panoramic trains in the world and connects two world-renowned holiday resorts in Switzerland, Zermatt and St. Moritz. The journey through the Alps has been very popular with guests from near and far for more than 95 years and has gained additional attractiveness through the introduction of the Excellence Class. In this versatile role, you are responsible for the implementation and further development of the social media strategy. You produce inspiring content for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and TikTok and skillfully stage exciting stories in images, videos, and text. You work closely with influencers, content creators, partners, and our community. You plan cooperations, accompany productions on site, and maintain a strong network.

Your area of responsibility

Implementation and further development of the Glacier Express social media strategy
Content management as well as content creation (images, videos, texts) on Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and TikTok
Collaboration with influencers and content creators (handling inquiries, selection, planning, organization, and on-site support of projects) as well as community management in cooperation with other involved parties
Maintaining the network and implementing Glacier Express content on social media channels of partners and customers
Management of the image database for social media content, including rights and further development of content infotainment in the Glacier Express
Creation of videos for Meta ads as well as participation in operational projects in marketing & sales and product management
Keeping minutes, action and measure plans, budget/budget control, and deputizing for the Media Relations & Communications Manager

Your profile

Completed training and proven experience in digital communication
Professional experience in social media/online communication (digital producing, online marketing, web publishing, content creation), preferably in tourism
Communicative, open, and customer-oriented personality
Independent and goal-oriented working style as well as a strong affinity for social media and digital trends
Strong flair for storytelling and content creation (image, video & text)
Very good knowledge of MS Office, common content management systems, and Adobe Creative Suite (Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and InDesign)
Camera photography and videography skills are an advantage
German, English, and French spoken and written, any additional language is an advantage
