Job description
Infosys Public Services is seeking an Quality Analyst. This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle, including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition, and Design; play an important role in creating the high-level design artifacts; deliver high-quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition, and warranty. Required Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications:
- Candidate must be located within commuting distance in Toronto, ON or be willing to relocate to the area.
- Post Secondary Program/Certification in Computer Science or Computer Programming. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
- At least 2 years of Information Technology experience.

About Us
- Understanding of automated fare collection concepts used in public transportation, preferably the PRESTO system, however other types of similar systems are also acceptable
- Experience in testing of financial transactions and reconciliation processes: credit and debit card processing, open payments, Fare Media and associated standards
- Extensive experience in assessing and reviewing business and system requirements - requirement analysis, verification, traceability, gap analysis, and risks.
- Extensive experience in testing of complex enterprise and/or industrial applications including functional, non-functional, and system integration testing using requirements traceability and coverage analysis
- Proficient in database technologies (SQL Server, Oracle, MS Access)
- Knowledge of network and data communication protocols
- Valid Ontario Driver’s License is required
- Interface Validation: automated data file parsing and analysis using Perl or Shell scripting
- Knowledge of public transportation operations terms/concepts and TTC business functions
- Understanding of the concepts of Device Environmental Standards (EN 60950 and EN 50155) for electronic equipment is highly desired. Please note standards may change during the term of the Contract and the Company is required to adapt to these changes.
- Understanding QA processes based on CMMI and/or ISO standards.
- Knowledge of various testing methodologies (waterfall, V-model, Agile)
- Proven problem-solving skills to identify, validate and verify system and software application issues using defect management tools
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for knowledge exchange and transfer
- Certified CSTE/CSQA would be an asset.
