We are currently seeking Texas barred Healthcare Attorneys to join our team and support our clients. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to work with a highly well-known national healthcare organization.
Responsibilities:
- Advise clinical and operational leaders on legal, regulatory, and compliance issues affecting patient care, hospital operations, and medical staff matters.
- Provide guidance on and review of agreements and operational arrangements involving clinical services, physician engagement, vendors, and strategic initiatives.
- Partner with risk, compliance, and quality teams to support initiatives related to patient safety, quality of care, and regulatory compliance.
- Support the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure consistent, compliant, and efficient clinical operations.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Licensed to practice law and in good standing in Texas; strong knowledge of healthcare law and regulations.
- Minimum 6+ years of strong healthcare, hospital, or clinical operations legal practice.
- Demonstrated experience in clinical risk management, medical staff matters, and regulatory compliance (e.g. HIPAA, Stark Law, CMS rule).
- Strong contract management and negotiation skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams.
Compensation, Benefits & Location:
This role offers a range of competitive compensation starting at $140,000 and a highly competitive benefits package in the alternative legal services marketplace that includes health benefits, 401K and more. Axiomites predominately work remotely, with the exception that some clients require on-site presence.
