Head of Group Supervision of Self-Regulatory Organizations and Supervisory Organizations (m/f/d)

About the job

Leading a team of about ten collaborators, you are responsible for the authorization and supervision of self-regulatory organizations and supervisory organizations recognized by FINMA.

• Personal and technical supervision of a multilingual team (German and French).
• Responsibility for the supervision of self-regulatory organizations and supervisory organizations.
• Ensuring impeccable and comprehensible documentation of supervisory activities.
• Targeted communication with the supervised entities as well as with internal and external stakeholders.
• Compliance with and development of internal processes. 

• University degree in an economic or legal discipline from a Swiss university, ideally with further training as a certified accountant or certified internal auditor (CIA).
• At least 10 years of professional experience in the financial sector, in the areas of anti-money laundering, financial supervision, compliance, or auditing.
• Strong conceptual, analytical, and communication skills.
• Quick-witted, you stand out with a pronounced talent for planning and organization.
• Fluency in written and oral communication with supervised entities as well as pragmatism and persuasion are among your strengths.
• Very good knowledge of German (C2) and French (C2), as well as good knowledge of English (B2).
