Senior Business Controller & Deputy Head of Finance – 100% (m/f/d)
What you will accomplish with us
- You develop a uniform controlling system and a group-wide KPI system to manage production, logistics, and sales. With dashboards and reports, you support planning, forecasting, and management decisions. You take over the controlling of production operations focusing on process costs and efficiency and present financial key figures in the management meeting.
- You actively participate in the introduction of the new ERP D365 F&O (Go-Live 2028) and are responsible for processes in operational controlling, product costing, and reporting. You act as the interface to master data, materials management, production, and finance.
- You support the calculation of manufacturing costs, analyze throughput times, and evaluate plant utilization. The goal is to optimize unit costs, batch sizes, inventory turnover, and space utilization.
- You monitor and optimize production processes and further develop risk management as well as the internal control system (ICS). You accompany internal and external audits.
- You support the digitization and automation of business processes, identify media discontinuities, and help develop a new IT operating system. Additionally, you analyze sales figures and control profitability.
- You work on cross-departmental projects and support closings according to Swiss GAAP FER as well as budget and forecast processes. You also take on administrative tasks and deputize within the finance team.
What you bring
- You have completed a higher business education (e.g., FH, university, HF) with a focus on finance, controlling, or business informatics. Additional training in controlling or ERP is an advantage.
- You have several years of experience in operational and strategic controlling, ideally in an industrial company with production relevance.
- You are familiar with ERP systems – ideally Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O – and have already participated in ERP projects.
- You have a good sense for numbers and relationships, can analyze complex data, and create meaningful reports and dashboards.
- You are familiar with the calculation of manufacturing and self-costs, process cost accounting, as well as the optimization of inventory and production key figures.
- You bring experience in building and maintaining internal control systems as well as in risk management – ideally also in dealing with audits.
- You enjoy digital processes and bring experience in automating and optimizing business processes. You are comfortable handling large amounts of data.
- You work structured, independently, and like to take responsibility.
- You communicate clearly and understandably – both with management and operational areas, ideally in German and also in French.
- You are a team player and actively contribute to cross-departmental projects.
