The Reformed Parish of Meilen is a lively, culturally diverse community on the sunny right bank of Lake Zurich. As a church secretary, you can expect a varied and meaningful position with a wide range of tasks and great independence.
Your tasks
- Management of the parish administration in organizational and administrative matters
- Taking minutes and preparing and following up on meetings of the church council and parish assemblies
- Proactive and solution-oriented collaboration with the department heads
- Support and advice to the church council on legal and administrative matters
- Personnel management (secretariat, sextons)
- IT responsibility with support from the external IT service provider
- Financial administration in cooperation with the finance department
- Payroll and personnel administration
- Insurance matters (personal and property insurance)
- Property management in cooperation with the property department
- Information and coordination point for internal and external inquiries
Your profile
- Commercial basic training, ideally with experience in a public administration, parish, or comparable organization
- Knowledge of church and public law or willingness to acquire it
- High social competence
- Very good knowledge of Office programs and confident German language skills
- High IT affinity and strong understanding of digital processes
- Independent, structured, and reliable working style
- Identification with the values of our church and interest in community life
- Open to new things
