About the job
Are you looking for a meaningful task where you can accompany and support kindergarten children in their daily life after mandatory lessons? In our school-complementary care at Littau Village Primary School, you will find a varied environment, a dedicated team, and the chance to joyfully contribute your educational skills.
Your tasks
- You have an active and shaping role in the care team and are responsible for a professional, child-appropriate relationship and support of the children.
- You plan, organize, and accompany the children through their leisure time at the lunch table and in the afternoon.
- You are a reliable contact person for children, parents, and school staff and conduct parent and professional discussions if needed.
- You maintain contact with teachers, caretakers, and other school professionals.
- You mainly work during school weeks from Monday to Friday between 11:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
- You may accompany children before lessons in early morning care from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. if needed.
Your profile
- You have completed social-pedagogical, socio-cultural, or pedagogical training.
- You work according to a solution-oriented approach and bring clear educational attitudes and values.
- You have experience and enjoy accompanying kindergarten children aged 4 to 6, supporting and assisting them in their daily life.
- You empathize with the children’s world and confidently handle culturally and age-mixed groups.
- You convince with your empathetic, appreciative, and team-oriented manner and actively contribute to our school life.
- You have experience in administrative and planning tasks.
- You work independently, reliably, and communicate openly, clearly, and transparently.
