The Church District Eleven belongs to the Church Community Zurich and includes the districts Affoltern ZH and Seebach.
Your Tasks
We look forward to a new team member who wants to preserve proven practices and bring in new impulses. Together with two pastors, you will shape senior work in Church District Eleven as follows:
- Organization and design of offers for seniors such as senior holidays & excursions, Glaubten lunch, 60+ afternoons, dance tea, etc.
- "Va bene" visiting service
- Social counseling for seniors
- Participation in communication and public relations work
- Active networking in the church district, the neighborhood, and the church community
- Enjoyment in accompanying and motivating volunteers
- Supervision of trainees
Your Profile
- Diaconal training (TDS / CAS Diakonie) and/or FH/HF Social Work / socio-cultural animation / community animation
- Experience and joy in diaconal work in a church environment
- Team-oriented and trustworthy personality with pronounced social skills
- Empathetic and compassionate personality who enjoys working with older and elderly people
- Organizational talent with good Microsoft Office user skills
- Enjoyment in actively supporting and promoting trainees
- Christian attitude and identification with the Reformed Church
