Located in a preferred location in Männedorf with views over Lake Zurich and the mountains, Hotel Boldern offers 59 single and double rooms, as well as 9 seminar and group rooms. A dining area with a restaurant, garden room, bistro, terrace, and bar complete the offer. From November 2025 or by arrangement, we are looking for a motivated individual as Head Chef. In this responsible position, you carry the professional and leadership responsibility for the entire kitchen area. Your tasks:
Your profile:
Further development of process flows in the kitchen as well as with the cross-functional interfaces
- Economic and quality-oriented purchasing - Careful, structured, independent and goal-oriented working method and economic processing - Quality control of goods delivery, storage - Teamwork, reliability and professional appearance - Compliance with hygiene standards, HACCP regulations, especially regarding cleaning and maintenance of work equipment, devices and kitchen inventory - Hands-on, flexible and team-oriented - Commitment and service-oriented attitude
- Active leadership of the kitchen team & training of apprentices
- Good German skills in spoken and written form
- Good MS Office user skills
