Main tasks
In your role as Head of Sales West Switzerland, you work as an experienced sales personality with foresight and genuine passion for customer management together with your sales team to achieve the set goals – in accordance with the principles of Selecta. In this position, you report directly to the Sales Director Switzerland and have the opportunity to actively shape sales at Europe's leading provider of food & beverage solutions.
- You lead and develop a performance-oriented sales team in Western Switzerland and create a culture of responsibility and collaboration.
- In your region, you implement the national sales strategy, contribute your own impulses, and bear responsibility for sales and results.
- With solid analyses, you effectively manage your activities, maintain relationships with key and major customers, and secure long-term partnerships.
- You recognize market opportunities early, drive targeted acquisitions, and unlock new potentials.
- You actively manage your sales pipeline, ensure reliable forecasts, and ensure consistent CRM usage.
- In close coordination with the Sales Director Switzerland and internal interfaces, you actively shape the sales of tomorrow.
- You consistently implement your sales plans and continuously adapt them to market developments.
Education
- Completed commercial or technical training, ideally supplemented by a business management further education (e.g., Sales Manager HF/FH).
Profile
- At least five years of successful leadership experience in sales – ideally in the food, food service, or hospitality industry
- Strong leadership skills, high self-motivation, and strong results orientation
- Experience in managing key accounts and implementing complex sales processes
- Native German or French with excellent knowledge of the other language; English skills are an advantage
