Construction Manager Rail Construction (80-100%)
Your role with us
- You take responsibility for leading a diverse team of around 20 specialists. This includes your own employees as well as external experts in a demanding and complex field of rail construction
- You are responsible for site organization and planning with the goal of ensuring high availability of railway facilities and their operational safety according to the Railway Act (EBG) through targeted maintenance
- As a construction manager, you bear responsibility for safety and health protection at the workplace and ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with applicable safety standards and regulations
- You are responsible for the technical and organizational management of external track construction companies
- You are responsible for managing projects in rail construction during the implementation phase

- Completed training as a construction manager
- At least 5 years of leadership experience in rail construction, road construction, or related fields and are willing to work in shifts
- Solid knowledge in rail construction, especially in the application of SOBBA regulations (Swiss Organization for Rail Construction and Rail Technology). Knowledge in construction project costing is an advantage
- With your efficient and solution-oriented leadership style, you actively contribute to the team, empower your employees, and act and decide in the interest of BVB
- You are safety-conscious and can assess risks. Meeting deadlines, requirements, and quality standards is your top priority
