The project manager coordinates and leads the delivery projects of Ascom customers, e.g. installation and integration, commissioning, and user training. The project manager takes the lead during the implementation projects until the final inspection and acceptance of the Ascom solution or service.

Your main tasks
Proper planning and management of assigned customer delivery projects throughout the entire project lifecycle
Ensuring the use of necessary standards, processes, tools, and competencies in project management for customer deliveries.
Ensuring a proactive risk management approach for each delivery project
Successful outcome of project deliveries in terms of cost and quality
Management of delivery activities for customer projects according to the defined contractual scope, prerequisites, and constraints.
Maintaining project margins with cost elements (mainly labor hours and HW items).
Interface with customers and colleagues to gather information necessary for providing professional services.
Utilization of a company-defined methodology for project management and corresponding documentation and monitoring of milestones and decision points.
Building and maintaining good knowledge of networks, wireless networks, and related technologies.
Management of domestic projects of medium to large scale.
Regular reporting of status updates (immediately for deviations outside project tolerance).
Management of the resource plan and allocation for assigned projects.
Your profile
1-2 years as a project manager at another company or project leader at Ascom
Professional experience in the IT, telecommunications, or healthcare sector
University degree (M. Sc.) in business administration or technology
Certification in project management (e.g. Prince2 Foundation, PMI, or equivalent)
Good German skills as well as knowledge of the English language.
