The St. Jakob Foundation in Zurich offers around 450 people with disabilities protected workplaces, day structures, and training opportunities. The employees are guided, challenged, and supported at work by 190 professional staff members.
To complement our HR team, we are looking for an HR Recruiter & Payroll Clerk starting May 1, 2026, or by agreement.

These are your tasks
In this versatile role, you are responsible for the entire recruiting process, from creating and publishing job postings to actively searching for candidates, conducting interviews, and supporting the departments in the selection process. You coordinate applicant management, conduct professional conversations with candidates, and actively contribute to the further development of our employer branding measures.
At the same time, you independently carry out the monthly payroll and ensure timely and accurate payroll processing. You are the contact person for employees regarding salary and social security-related questions and liaise with authorities, offices, and social insurance carriers. Furthermore, you actively support the year-end closing.
What you bring
- Completed commercial apprenticeship (EFZ)
- Completed further education in HR
- Experience in recruiting various positions and levels
- Good user knowledge of the Abacus ERP system
- Business-oriented thinking and acting
- Enjoyment and flair for numbers
- Team player, flexible, humorous, service-oriented, and very independent
- Very good user knowledge of the MS Office suite
- Impeccable reputation
