Your Main Responsibilities
- Conduct regulatory audits at banks and other financial intermediaries as an extended arm of FINMA
- Assess compliance with regulatory requirements, especially in the areas of anti-money laundering and suitability. You will participate in process audits and reporting and gain in-depth knowledge in relevant topics such as client onboarding, risk disclosure in investment business, investment advisory process, portfolio management, effectiveness of internal control systems, adequacy of the compliance function, and cross-border activities
- Expand your understanding of the Swiss financial industry and the business models of various financial service providers and use this knowledge for well-founded advice
- Support consulting projects at banks and other financial service providers, for example in financial market law issues, project management, assessment of regulatory implementations, and formulation of recommendations for action
- Opportunity to participate in the audit of annual and consolidated financial statements of financial service providers
- Benefit from continuous internal training by participating in various trainings at home and abroad on auditing, consulting services, and the opportunity to obtain external qualifications (e.g., Certified Public Accountant, ACAMs)
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor's or Master's degree (university or university of applied sciences) in economics, business law, law, or a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics)
- Very good German and English skills, French skills are a plus
- A strong interest in working in auditing and consulting as well as the financial market
- A pronounced analytical understanding and quick comprehension to quickly familiarize yourself with new topics
- Enjoy working with other people – whether directly with our clients or your future team colleagues
