Garage Schweizer GmbH has been repairing cars, commercial vehicles as well as motorhomes and caravans for over 30 years. We have been an official Knaus-Tabbert motorhome dealer for 8 years and are looking to expand our team immediately or by arrangement with a:

Motorhome Mechanic/Electrician/Carpenter for Camper Repairs m/f/d 80-100%

We are looking for a motivated mechanic for motorhome repairs. The tasks you can expect are very varied and diverse.

They include repairs and retrofitting on motorhomes and caravans such as taps, power sockets, wood panelling, solar systems, and so on.

No worries! You do not need to know and be able to do everything for this position yet! Repairs on motorhomes/caravans are extensive and we are happy to teach you the necessary know-how. Courses and training, for example with manufacturers, can also be attended.

If you also have knowledge in service work on passenger cars or commercial vehicles, the workshop staff will also be grateful for your help there - but this is not essential for this position.

These tasks await you (depending on your existing know-how and interest):

• all kinds of repairs on motorhome/caravan equipment
• retrofitting of all kinds on customer vehicles as well as our new vehicles (e.g. sun awning, lithium batteries, solar system, bike/scooter carrier, navigation system, reversing camera, windows, roof hatches, diesel heater, air conditioning and so on)
• work on the electrical and water systems in the motorhome/caravan
• repairs related to collision damage on the motorhome body (e.g. bumpers, replacing various cladding elements)
• work on gas systems
• mechanical repairs and service work on cars, vans, motorhomes and caravans of all brands (assisting or independently depending on your skills)

Your profile:

• completed apprenticeship in a manual/technical profession (e.g. mechanic (car, truck, agriculture, motorcycle), electrician, plumber, carpenter, joiner, tinsmith, boat builder, model maker, service technician, toolmaker, polymechanic, sanitary installer or similar)
• interest in motorhomes/leisure vehicles
• teamwork, motivation, independence and spontaneity
• precise, reliable and clean working
• initiative and willingness for a versatile range of tasks in everyday work
• open to learning new things
• and by the way: there is no ideal age for this job!
