Key information about the position:

Reference: CLS/RH/2026.754 / Contract type: Permanent contract at 100% / Hours: Monday to Sunday, earliest 7:00 am and latest 7:00 pm according to schedule + night shift from 3:30 pm to midnight followed by on-call duty until 6:30 am / Start date: as soon as we find the right person / Location: in the heart of Lausanne (M2 stop "Riponne" or Bus 2, 3 or 21 stop "Beaulieu-Jomini")

Why do we need you?

Following the departure of the current post holder, we are looking for a new colleague for the Laboratory team. He or she will be responsible for performing and technically validating routine sector analyses in order to provide reliable results to the prescriber.

What will you be expected to do?

• Carry out the administrative registration of patient files and process them in the laboratory information system (LIS)
• Perform and technically validate biological analyses for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes in routine sectors (hematology, hemostasis, chemistry, immunology, immunohematology)
• Communicate pathological and/or urgent test results according to procedure
• Ensure the conformity of analysis requests and samples and that the analysis process complies with good laboratory practices (quality controls, calibrations, maintenance, sample quality…)
• Contribute to the development, writing, and application of procedures necessary to bring the sector into compliance with ISO 15189 standard
• Participate in night on-call services and weekend duties according to schedule

Essentials:

• Diploma as Biomedical Analysis Technician ES or equivalent
• Practical experience in a versatile routine laboratory
• Mastery of laboratory automation and technical validation procedures
• Comfort with common IT tools, especially the LIS system
• Rigor, autonomy, organizational skills, and reliability in handling analyses
• Availability for irregular hours (nights, weekends)
• Team spirit and good communication skills

Your assets:

• Good knowledge of quality requirements and ISO 15189 standard
• Versatility across several analytical sectors
• Knowledge of the Molis IT system
