Medicinal Products Inspector 60%The Cantonal Medicinal Products Control Zurich is the supervisory and licensing authority for the field of medicinal products. As a cantonal and partly regional competence center, it controls the manufacture and wholesale of pharmaceuticals as well as the dispensing of medicinal products. It issues the necessary permits for medicinal product companies as well as for medical and health professionals. We are looking for an initiative, team-oriented pharmacist as a Medicinal Products Inspector 60% for our inspectorate starting July 1, 2026.
Your tasks
- Checking the implementation of medicinal product regulations in public pharmacies, hospital and nursing home pharmacies (manufacture, mediation and dispensing of pharmaceuticals as well as maintenance of medical devices), writing inspection reports
- Checking company-specific quality assurance systems
- Checking pharmaceuticals according to own formula for compliance with pharmacopoeia requirements
- Initiating administrative measures
- Collecting medicinal product samples and clarifying marketability
- Providing specialist information and assisting in the preparation of information sheets
- Handling customer inquiries and conducting clarifications in close contact with specialist colleagues in the office as well as other cantonal and federal authorities
Our requirements
- Completed studies as a federally certified pharmacist
- Several years of professional experience in companies that manufacture and dispense medicinal products
- Solid knowledge of pharmaceuticals, medical devices, and industry-standard quality assurance systems
- Excellent knowledge of industry-standard specialist applications and information systems
- Reliable, resilient, and communicative personality with a confident appearance
- Analytical thinking as well as confident oral and written expression in German
- Performance-oriented and structured working method even during periods of high workload
