Your Tasks
- Responsibility for the entire financial accounting, including accounting for BSW Holding AG, the SÜV association, and the Hermagor ancillary cost accounting
- Management of the general ledger and ensuring efficient operational financial processes, including controlling, liquidity planning, and budgeting
- Personnel and disciplinary leadership of the finance team
- Contact person for all financial matters towards the board of directors, management, and cost center managers
- Implementation and further development of meaningful divisional and expected accounting
- Handling of accounts payable and receivable accounting including dunning (as deputy)
- Responsibility for payment transactions and monitoring of cash flow
- Preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements as well as preparation and support of audits
- Building, maintaining, and further developing financial and reporting processes including cost center structure
- Preparation and maintenance of financial key figures, statistics, and evaluations for management and the board of directors
- Ensuring financing of all investments and controlling the economic use of resources
- Completion of BFS statistics and timely submission
- Main contact person for external partners such as auditors, tax consultants, banks, and insurance companies
- Responsibility for monthly payroll processing as well as all payroll-relevant changes with social insurances
- Preparation of annual payrolls and all correspondence with social insurance carriers
- Development of the annual payroll budget in close cooperation with management
- Ensuring interface functionality between financial accounting and payroll system
Your Profile
- Advanced professional qualification in finance and accounting (e.g., professional certificate in finance and accounting, certified accounting expert, or comparable qualification)
- Further training and proven practical experience in personnel administration, ideally including payroll and social insurance
- At least six years of solid professional experience in a comparable position with leadership responsibility
- Very good knowledge of Swiss accounting standards (OR, Swiss GAAP FER advantageous) as well as tax and social insurance legislation
- Strong business and process-oriented thinking with a high affinity for numbers
- Experience in building and optimizing finance, controlling, and reporting processes
- Very good IT user skills, especially in accounting and payroll software (e.g., Sage, Personio) as well as advanced Excel skills
- Very good command of German in spoken and written form; French skills are an advantage
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in dealing with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong leadership skills, high resilience, reliability, and integrity
- Analytical thinking ability and the ability to clearly present complex financial contexts
- Willingness for continuous professional development and openness to digital transformation in finance
- No entries in the criminal record (especially in the area of property offenses); impeccable reputation
