Assistant in community health and psychiatric care and adult psychotherapy
The Adult Psychiatry and Psychotherapy West Service (SPPAO) of the Department of Psychiatry (DP) is looking for an assistant in community health care (ASSC) at a rate of activity between 80% and 100%, for a start date on February 1, 2026, or to be agreed upon.
Context
The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the five Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of UNIL and EPFL, it plays a leading role in the fields of care, research, and training.
The Adult Psychiatry and Psychotherapy West Service (SPPAO) is part of the CHUV Department of Psychiatry. It provides care for patients in the western region of the canton and offers inpatient and outpatient care focused on continuity, multidisciplinary collaboration, and the quality of the therapeutic relationship.
Mission
- You responsibly and autonomously support patients by assisting or supplementing their abilities in daily life activities
- You ensure the execution and monitoring of activities delegated by qualified staff
- You provide, under delegation, medico-technical acts in stable situations that do not present an emergency character
- You perform various administrative and logistical tasks related to patient care
- You work in a multidisciplinary team and apply the institutional rules in force.
Profile
- You hold a Federal Certificate of Competence (CFC) as an assistant in community health care (ASSC)
- You have excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrate empathy, proactivity, and a real ability to establish constructive and multidisciplinary collaborative relationships
- You possess good organizational skills, are flexible, open to change, and know how to take initiatives while respecting institutional guidelines and your job description
- You are motivated by managing psychological crisis situations and supporting psychiatric patients
- Ideally, you have experience in psychiatry
- You master common computer tools; knowledge of the Soarian patient record system is an asset
- You master spoken and written French, at least at level B2.
