Assistant Psychologist in the Geriatrics and Geriatric Rehabilitation Service
The Geriatrics and Geriatric Rehabilitation Service is offering a position for an assistant psychologist at 80% for a start date of July 1, 2026.
Context
The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the 5 Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, CHUV plays a leading role in medical care, medical research, and education.
The Geriatrics and Geriatric Rehabilitation Service relies on a complete and integrated clinical organization, including acute units, outpatient units, a long-term care unit, as well as a geriatric rehabilitation unit located at the CUTR Sylvana in Epalinges (93 beds).
The service develops a strong academic activity, combining specialized clinical care, postgraduate training, and translational and epidemiological research, particularly around the mechanisms of aging and bone metabolism.
Mission
- You provide quality care to patients
- You carry out clinical activities under the supervision of the senior psychologist
- You perform psychological assessments, as well as follow-ups with hospitalized patients
- You handle administrative activities related to your clinic
- You participate in service meetings and have access to assistant training.
Profile
- You hold a university master's degree in psychology
- You have clinical experience as a psychologist
- You are in training in psychoanalytic or systemic psychotherapy with a recognized training organization for obtaining the FSP title (mandatory criterion to specify in your CV)
- You have an interest in the care of the elderly
- You have ease in contact and good collaboration skills within an interdisciplinary team.
