Supply Chain and Change Specialist 80 – 100 % (m/f/d)

Hamilton Storage develops, produces, and distributes robots for storing up to ten million chemical substances for pharmaceutical companies. In addition, we produce robots for storing biological samples at -80 degrees Celsius, which are used in biobanks for clinical research purposes.
What you can achieve:
- Development and implementation of category and procurement strategies
- Identification, selection, and development of national and international suppliers
- Conducting supplier evaluations, supplier audits, and qualifications
- Leading price, contract, and condition negotiations
- Conclusion of framework agreements and long-term supply contracts
- Analysis of procurement markets and identification of cost optimization potentials
- Conducting make-or-buy analyses
- Supporting product development projects through Early Supplier Involvement
- Building and maintaining strategic supplier partnerships
- Executing the operational ordering process in the ERP system
- Ensuring timely material availability for production and projects
- Monitoring delivery dates and order confirmations
- Coordination with production, logistics, quality assurance, and engineering
- Supporting complaints and supplier escalations
- Maintaining article, supplier, and contract master data
- Supporting customs and trade law requirements in international purchasing
What you bring with you:
- Education: Completed studies in business administration, industrial engineering, supply chain management, or comparable qualification; or commercial or technical training with further education in purchasing or supply chain management
- Professional experience: Several years of experience in strategic and operational purchasing, preferably in an industrial environment, experience in international supplier management, experience with contract negotiations and supplier development
- Professional skills: Solid knowledge in procurement management and supplier management, experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP), knowledge of international trade and customs law, knowledge of relevant regulations (REACH, RoHS, Supply Chain Act); ensuring correct indication of country of origin, checking and managing preference documents, and ensuring compliance with supply chain laws (LLE)
- Personal skills: Strong negotiation and communication skills, analytical and strategic thinking, structured and independent working style, teamwork and interdisciplinary collaboration, high level of initiative and sense of responsibility
- Language skills: Very good written and spoken German and English
