We are looking for a
Positioning Nurse / Positioning Nurse
starting May 1, 2026, or by arrangement.
The Merian Iselin Clinic is a state-of-the-art private clinic with a public service mandate in Basel. Our focus areas are orthopedics, surgery, and urology. With us, you will find meaningful work in a family environment where people are at the center.
Your main tasks
- Responsible for admitting and discharging the patient
- Proper positioning and repositioning of patients during all procedures according to the surgeon's instructions
- Proper and professional preparation and maintenance of all necessary equipment and surgical positioning materials
- Recognizing and managing emergency situations
Your profile
- You have completed basic training as a health care professional and ideally have completed further training as an OR positioning nurse
- You are physically fit and keep an overview even in hectic situations
- You are willing to perform on-call duties
- You can communicate fluently in German and enjoy working in an interdisciplinary team
