Your Tasks
- Contact person and support function for the patient billing area
- Coordination and ensuring timely and correct billing of all hospital services (DRG, EBM, GOÄ)
- Close cooperation and collaboration with other non-medical functional areas, especially medical controlling and financial accounting
- Support at the location in organizing and controlling the proper data transmission to the cost carriers according to § 301 SGB V
- Support in correspondence with health insurance companies regarding billing issues
- Ensuring timely invoice verification of cooperation and consultation contracts
- Continuous optimization of processes and the organizational structure and workflow of the area
Your Profile
- A completed scientific degree, ideally in healthcare / hospital management or a comparable commercial training
- Several years of professional experience in patient management in a hospital
- Confident handling of hospital information systems, preferably SAP and Microsoft Office applications
- Very good knowledge in all inpatient and outpatient billing areas
- Strong team, communication, and conflict skills
- Confident appearance and negotiation skills
- Conscientiousness and organizational talent
- Economic thinking
- Goal-oriented and result-driven working style
