- Site Leadership & Representation: Lead and manage the site campaign, represent KVI towards clients, authorities, subcontractors, and partners, ensure contractual compliance, promote corporate principles, and provide technical and organisational leadership within the defined battery limits.
- Site Execution & Progress Control: Plan, manage, and coordinate all site activities up to handover to commissioning; monitor execution against contracts, schedules, erection plans, costs, and quality targets; implement corrective measures where deviations occur.
- QHSE, Compliance & Documentation: Ensure full compliance with QHSE, legal, environmental, and working regulations; lead safety culture on site; maintain complete and up‑to‑date technical documentation, as‑built records, inspections, acceptance protocols, and site archives.
- Commercial, Cost & Contract Management: Control installation costs, verify subcontractor performance, time & material records, invoices, and claims; manage additional works, defect resolution, quality controls, and final condition assessments; support tender phases with workload evaluations.
- Reporting, Coordination & Continuous Improvement: Lead regular coordination and progress meetings, manage materials and logistics, use site management software, prepare reports and experience feedback, inform management of risks and deviations, and ensure structured handover to commissioning.
- Education & Technical Background: Engineering degree (Bachelor/Master) in mechanical or industrial engineering, or technician/master craftsman with equivalent experience, supported by strong technical documentation and reporting skills.
- Erection & Site Leadership Experience: 10+ years leading erection campaigns for boiler pressure parts, incineration grates, and steel structures, with hands‑on experience in industrial boiler projects.
- Contract, Sub‑contractor & Safety Expertise: Proven coordination of construction and installation contracts, subcontractor management, and solid HSE documentation; SMSTS/IOSH and SCC certifications desirable.
- Leadership, Planning & Problem Solving: Assertive, communicative leader with hands‑on mentality, structured and analytical approach, strong organisational and negotiation skills, and a practical, solution‑oriented mindset.
- Languages, IT & Mobility: Business‑fluent English with good German (additional languages an advantage), confident MS Office user, and high flexibility for international travel and long‑term site assignments across Europe.
