Host / Operations Manager (m/f) 100% Restaurant Schützenhaus - Basel
The focus is on the à la carte restaurant in the "Gartensaal" as well as in the rustic part, the "Schluuch". These two restaurants can accommodate up to 160 people. Additionally, the "Schützenhaus" offers three beautiful banquet rooms, the largest of which, the "Schützensaal", can accommodate up to 180 people. During the summer, an additional 300 seats are available in the garden and on the newly designed terrace.
You are a leadership personality with pronounced organizational talent, communicative and strongly guest-oriented. Standard phrases are not your style – you appreciate open, individual communication with guests, whether in person or in writing. Administrative tasks are as enjoyable to you as the lively environment of gastronomy.
In your new position, you can bring in all your strengths and are responsible, among other things, for all organizational, administrative, and communicative tasks.
You will take on the host role from the reopening of the renovated Restaurant Schützenhaus with a lot of flair, initiative, and motivation as:

Your main responsibilities:
- Managing the daily operations of the traditional restaurant
- Ensuring excellent customer service and high guest satisfaction
- Personnel management, including recruitment, training, and development of the team
- Financial management, including budgeting and revenue control
- Collaboration with the kitchen management for menu design and optimization
- Maintaining relationships with suppliers and local partners
- Compliance with all legal regulations and hygiene standards
- Interface with the central sales and marketing department
